Charity Shopper team attend Charity Retail Expo 2016
Generating over £270m per year in profit and harnessing the skills of more than 221,000 volunteers nationwide, charity retail promotes charitable causes and an environmentally sustainable retail experience. The Charity Retail Association is the only body in the UK that represents the interests of charity retailers. Our members run over 8500 shops between them.
June 2016 saw the return of the Charity Retail conference to Keele University, in the West Midlands, and along with it, hundreds flocked to catch a glimpse of updates across every area of charity retail, ranging from tech, to recycling.
Charity Shopper Co-founders, Paul Hanson, along with Jonathan & David Stretton-Downes visited the event with tech being the main agenda. With over 100 exhibitors, the event was again, a huge success, with key partners and stakeholders in the charity sector welcoming the developments in digital.
Until next year!
